Coping Strategies
When stress builds up, small actions can make a big difference. Try one of these.
1-Minute Breathing Reset
Steps:
1. Breathe in through your nose for 4 seconds
2. Hold your breath for 4 seconds
3. Breathe out slowly through your mouth for 4 seconds
4. Repeat 4 times
You can do this anywhere — even while sitting at your desk.
Quick Break, No Guilt
Try any of these:
Stand up and stretch for 2 minutes
Drink a glass of water
Look away from your screen and rest your eyes
Listen to one calming song
Take 5 deep breaths
Taking breaks helps your brain learn better — it’s not being lazy.
Small Habits That Help
Get enough sleep (even 30 minutes more helps)
Eat regular meals
Move your body daily (walk, stretch, light exercise)
Limit screen time before bed
Talk to someone you trust
You don’t need perfect habits — just better ones, slowly.
