Time Management Tips!
Make goals Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound.
Categorize tasks as Urgent/Important (Do First), Important/Not Urgent (Schedule), Urgent/Not Important (Delegate), and Not Urgent/Not Important (Eliminate).
Schedule tasks and block out focused work times (Time Blocking).
Keep daily lists, but focus on 1-2 main goals.
How to Avoid Procrastination!
Divide large projects into small, manageable, "stupidly simple" chunks to make them less intimidating.
Commit to working on a task for just five minutes. Often, starting is the hardest part, and this breaks the inertia.
Tackle your hardest, most important, or most dreaded task first thing in the morning.
Block websites, put your phone in another room, or use white noise to protect your focus.
Use timers (e.g., Pomodoro technique) for focused work sessions, such as 25 minutes of work followed by a 5-minute break.
Work with a partner or tell someone your goals to keep you on track.
