Study techniques, tips, and support made by students, for students.
Why This Hub Exists?
Student Survival Hub was created to help students who feel overwhelmed by school. Many students struggle with heavy workloads, constant exams, pressure from family or teachers, and the feeling that they are “never doing enough.” This website exists to remind students that they are not alone and that there are better, healthier ways to manage school life.
Our goal is to help students feel more confident, organized, and supported by giving them practical study tools, time-management strategies, stress-relief activities, and a safe place to connect with other students. Everything here is made by students, for students—because no one understands school life better than those living it every day.
Before you explore our website, here are some fun facts about studying (yes, studying can be fun… sometimes haha)
What exactly is your goal in studying? Are you studying for a major test? Do you need to understand a theory to apply it in the Lab? Do you need to achieve or maintain a high GPA? To make your study time more effective develop a goal and a plan to achieve your goal. Use the following guidelines to organize your study time
Multitasking hurts your focus and productivity. Studying works best in a quiet place with no distractions. Set aside dedicated time to study only no phone, messages, or other tasks. It may be difficult, but giving your full attention makes learning more effective.
Studying nonstop isn’t effective your brain needs short breaks. Try 20 minutes of focused study followed by a 5–10 minute break. Use active methods like solving problems or writing summaries (not scrolling). Before you finish, review what you learned your brain remembers effort, not just reading.
